Chapter One · Childhood
The House on
Maple Street
A memoir · 1962 – 1980
I remember the smell of bread baking every Sunday morning, drifting up the stairs before I had even opened my eyes. The kitchen was my grandmother's kingdom, and in it, time moved differently — slowly, warmly, with purpose...

Why I built
LifeArchive4U

I started this project from a deeply personal place. Like many of us, I watched as the stories of people I loved — their experiences, their wisdom, the texture of their lives — began to fade. Documents scattered. Photographs unnamed. Memories that existed only in the minds of those who were no longer here to share them.

"Every family has a story that deserves to be told with the care and intention it was lived. Technology should help us do that — not make it harder."

— Founder, LifeArchive4U

I am a Doctor of Business Administration candidate studying AI and emerging technologies. LifeArchive4U is born from the intersection of that technical understanding and a very human belief: that the stories of ordinary lives are extraordinarily valuable — and that every person deserves the tools to preserve them.

We are at the beginning of this journey. We are building carefully, listening closely, and inviting a small group of founding members to help us get it right.
